Robert Stephen, an alum of NBS and current contributing educator, is a unique choreographic voice I have come to admire since becoming NBS Artistic Director in 2024. Robert has a tremendous gift in utilizing the classical ballet form by creating fresh, sensitive and poetic works. I have been extremely impressed with Robert’s emerging creative skills, and value the integrity in which he approaches the choreographic process while centering humanity and innovation.
